Guardsmen Resources is a private mineral exploration company that owns a suite of mineral properties in central and northern British Columbia. Its focus is primarily on gold, silver and copper.
Properties
Over the last few years, the Company sold two of its properties, Lawyers in 2018 and Ranch in 2020 to Thesis Gold Inc and by 2025 we sold the NSR we held on each of these claim groups.
Presently, the company owns a 100% interest in the Antler, Zinc Bay, and Dome North properties, and holds a 50% interest in the Deer Horn property (First Tellurium Corp (FTEL) retains the other 50% and is operator).
Further Details
Net Smelter Returns
The company holds a 3% NSR on certain Dome mine claims that were previously sold to the predecessor of Blue Lagoon; these claims cover extensions to the known ore bodies that comprise the mine. Readers are referred to Blue Lagoon’s website for further information on its plans to bring the Dome mine into full production in 2026.
The company previously sold its Engineer/Gold Hill mineral claims to BCGold Corp. (BCG), but retains a 3% NSR on these claims. New owner, Blind Creek Resources, acknowledged the NSR in 2017.
ANTLER
The ANTLER PROPERTY was staked in 2023 and 2024 to cover prospective ground that recently experienced significant glacial recession. Fieldwork in 2024-2025 over this previously unexplored terrain identified brand new copper-molybdenum+/-silver prospects. A 5-year MYAB exploration permit application was submitted in early December 2025.
ZINC BAY
Our Zinc Bay property, host to several precious metal-enriched base metal veins and other prospects, has been in Guardsmen’s hands since 2006. In 2022, the Company completed a 3D IP survey over part of the eastern section of the property and updated its NI 43-101 technical report.
DOME MTN
Our Dome North mineral claims are adjacent to the Dome mine currently operated by Blue Lagoon Resources Inc. In 2022 and 2024, the Company completed soil sampling programs to trace extensions of the Jane and Hoopes gold veins and acquired additional claims that in part surround the West perimeter of the operating Dome mine. A permit application for drilling of these veins was submitted in May 2025.
DEER HORN
Our Deer Horn property hosts an NI 43-101 indicated resource of 414,000 tonnes grading 5.12 g/t Au, 157.5 g/t Ag and 160 ppm Te (2018). Recent exploration under FTEL management has been limited.
